Item Description
A glorious branching cluster of three, light mint-green prehnite after long, straw-like, laumontite crystals from the famous and mostly closed quarries around Bombay. The architecture of this stunning specimen is very fine, with the isolated crystals. The long stalk is 7.1 cm and all of the pseudos are hollow. This is classic, old-time and superb material from the Jaime Bird Collection. It dates to the 1970s, when these first came to the US market. One of the very best smaller pieces we have seen of this species from this locale.
