A very fine and showy CABINET plate covered with translucent, mint-green, bladed prehnite aggregates. The two large crystals are actually prehnite pseudomorphs after anhydrite crystals, that formed stalactitically. Classic, older and desirable material from the well-known Lane Quarry of Massachusetts. Ex Schlichter Collection. Valued at $550. SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THIS OLD CLASSIC!
