An exceptional and sculptural 360-degree prehnite pseudomorph or epimorph from this famous New Jersey Traprock quarry. A striking upright "sail" of lustrous, translucent, spherical aggregates of pretty mint-green bladed prehnite has casted a large anhydrite blade and aesthetically rests on the prehnite matrix plate. The anhydrite dissolved away, leaving the dramatic slotted form of the crystal. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this fine example at $750, more than 6 years ago. A classic New Jersey pseudo.
