Item Description
A striking single, translucent, mint-green "finger" pseudomorph of prehnite crystals after anhydrite with waxy luster dominates this showy piece from the famous Trap Rock quarries of Paterson. The broken base reveals the hollow tubes, where the precipitating fluids flowed and the hollow spaces, where the anhydrite blades were dissolved away. The hollow for the large finger goes all the way to the tip. Nifty. Classic and excellent material.
