These are some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Prehnite specimens from the modern age of mineral collecting. A pair of rounded clusters of crystallized "clamshells" of translucent rich green color Prehnite are perched on top of Quartz on matrix. A lovely and worthwhile small cabinet sized specimen of this contemporary classic material. The largest Prehnite sphere measures 2.1 cm.
