Item Description
Intergrown, light pistachio-green, translucent Prehnite botryoids with nubby bladed surfaces nearly envelope lustrous, partially translucent olive-green Epidote crystals on this sculptural and rich combination from 1990s to early 2000s finds in Mali. Fine Prehnites from Mali, most often associated with deep green Epidote crystals, are instantly recognizable to most collectors. See the 2011 Mineralogical Record article in Vol. 42, No. 3. A fine, representative small cabinet combination. Rare on the market today, in this quality.
