Item Description

In the early 2000s we started to see some of the most impressive and beautiful display quality specimens of Prehnite with Epidote coming out of the Kayes Region of Mali. While these are not really "new" anymore, they are still some of my favorite Prehnite specimens on the market. This particular specimen hosts good quality, attractive, gemmy, water-green color spherical aggregates of Prehnite sitting on dark brownish-green Epidote crystals to form an eye-catching display piece. The largest Prehnite "ball" measures 1.5 cm across, and the largest Epidote measures 1.6 cm. The Prehnites are undamaged, while a few of the Epidote crystals are contacted.
