Item Description

A wonderful cabinet sized display specimen of the famous Brandberg Prehnites. This specimen features attractive spherical groups composed of thin bladed crystals of translucent "water green" colored Prehnite measuring up to 2.0 cm across sitting on Calcite on matrix. The central portion of the piece damage free, but the piece is contacted around the periphery where it was removed from the pocket wall. Valued at $1,000. Charlie is arguably the most successful dealer of the second half of the 20th century, along with being the namesake for TWO mineral species (Keyite and Ludlockite).
