Prehnite (good quality) on Quartz

Item Description

These are relatively new specimens to the market, but they are unqiue and attractive. This piece features several, beautiful green spherical aggregates of Prehnite measuring up to 1.5 cm sitting on very gemmy Quartz matrix. The piece is crystallized on both sides, and there are some minor black Babingtonites on the reverse side of the piece as well. The Quartz crystals themselves are about as gemmy as I have seen from the locality, and the overall quality of the piece is VERY GOOD compared to most I have handled. A beautiful Prehnite specimen from this locality that is best known for the superb Babingtonite crystals that were recently found. Retail value is approximately $350-$450.
