Item Description
A classic and attractive specimen of this now classic material featuring groups of rather lustrous, translucent, "water"-green color semi-spherical Prehnite aggregates, which comprise small, "fan"-like blades on matrix. I have not seen many specimens from this locality recently, and this particular piece was mined about 20 years ago. I think its pretty good by any worldwide standard for Prehnite, especially in terms of the high luster and beautiful formation. Gemmy, really well-crystallized and essentially damage free, save the bottom edge where it was removed from the pocket wall.
