Prehnite (good quality)

Item Description

A plate of attractive groups comprising fine quality, translucent to gemmy, semi-lustrous, "water"-green color Prehnite crystals which are composed of small, "fan"-like blades sitting on a thin layer of matrix. I have not seen many specimens from this locality recently, but I think the piece is very good by any worldwide standard for Prehnite along with the locality value. The largest Prehnite aggregate measures 1.5 cm across, and the piece is in superb condition, save the periphery where it was removed from the pocket. This is certainly a higher quality specimen of this lesser seen material from the Oficarsa Quarry.
