Item Description

Exceptional pair of perfect lime green Prehnite spheres that exhibit a truly dramatic aesthetic. The translucent and lustrous 2 cm Prehnite balls are perched atop dark green Epidote and complemented by contrasting stark white Stilbite crystals raining down the display face. This specimen has a mesmerizing look! The piece is in excellent condition with only a little bruising on the Stilbite. The Prehnite has a wonderful green glow when strongly backlit (we show it under weak, medium, strong lighting here). A great sculptural Prehnite combination piece that is hard to beat in this size class! Note this was originally labelled as being from the Djouga diggings - however we have been corrected by the man who exported these all at the time. It is from Sougounikoura. The two localities are about 20 km apart
