Item Description

Lustrous, translucent, spherical aggregates of blocky, olive-green prehnite crystals form a showy and rich plate from this abandoned gabbro-diabase quarry, now on the site of a nature reserve where collecting is strictly prohibited (MINDAT). Excellent older material from the Bob Trimingham Collection and formerly in the H. Westenberger Collection, according to Bob's label.
