Item Description
A very cute and aesthetic, intergrown cluster of three, translucent, yellow-green prehnite balls from the famous and now-closed Traprock Millington Quarry of New Jersey. Nifty accents are the calcite rhomb on top of the large sphere and a spray of glassy laumontite blades on the left ball. Excellent material from this well-known locale. Overall a very unusual form, and a SUPER color fo rprehnite, classic for old finds here but rarely seen today! valued $900-1200. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
