The striking hole highlights the dense coverage of sparkly, translucent spherical aggregates of pretty mint-green bladed prehnite on this dramatically sculptural, rich, 3-dimensional matrix prehnite specimen from the well-known Early Mesozoice Traprock quarries in this area. This is an excellent and classic old-time prehnite from this locale. From an East Coast collection and comes with two century-old faded and water-stained labels, one from an old New Jersey traprock quarry.
