Prehnite casts after Calcite w/ Calcite

Frosted, translucent, pretty mint-green prehnite has casted dense calcite rhombs on this striking large plate. The upright clusters along the edge really accentuate this showy piece. Pristine. The piece has a very flat base, indicating that the specimen grew against a large sharp crystal. BUT, a secondary overgrowth of very glassy calcite is super accent. Prehnite specimens are uncommon from this obscure South African locale and this is a really good one.
