Fascinating Prehnite epimorph cast tube, extending from a Prehnite matrix composed of the classic bladed spheroid habit. The 5 cm tube itself is composed of identical Prehnite spheroids averaging .4 cm across, all stuck together like pieces of candy on a sticky summer's day. The really interesting aspect of the epimorph is that the core is PERFECTLY square, perhaps cast after an Anhydrite crystal dissolved long ago. Whatever the true original crystal was, the well-defined structure and shape of this epimorph tube is quite amazing.
