From a modern find of about 2015, this is a new occurence of this old historic classic East Coast style of prehnite that has replaced previous anhydrite crystals> These are old classics, often seen in museums but seldom on the mineral market except for a few small finds in recent years. This sparkling piece is a thick crust of mostly squat fingers of very lustrous, translucent, light apple-green prehnite. The smaller fingers of prehnite are surmounted by one finger measuring 2 cm in length to one end. Overall, sparkly and attractive. Valued $300-400
