Prehnite and Calcite

Item Description

A textbook, 2 cm, Prehnite crystal laying on a matrix of dozens of clear Calcite rhombs. This is from recent finds at the Goboboseb Mountains of Namibia. The Prehnite is a beautiful, gemmy, mint-green rounded crystal aggregate. The clear, sharp Calcites range up to about .3 cm on edge, and provide a beautiful bed for the Prehnite to rest on. A very fine and aesthetic combination specimen from this noted locale known more for its quartzes.
