Item Description

Prehnite has always been a popular gem among collectors because of its lovely green color. Recently the Prehnite discovery in Mali has produced some great cabbing and carving material. This material has a unique and attractive "soft" almost "velvety" appearance. This "Oval Cabochon" cut gem has a beautiful green hue, and is highlighted by a solitary dark green Epidote inclusion, which is typical for this material from Mali. Most people don't have good Prehnite gems in their collection, and this would make a nice addition to any gem suite.
