These are some of the most distinctive and easily recognizable Prehnite specimens from the modern age of mineral collecting. A pair of rounded clusters of crystallized "clamshells" of translucent "water green" color Prehnite makes up this attractive small cabinet display specimen. The underside of the piece has some hollow "casts" where preexisting Quartz or Calcite crystals once grew. A lovely and worthwhile specimen of this contemporary classic material.
