Prehnite

Item Description

Prehnite has always been a popular gem among collectors because of its lovely green color. Recently the new Prehnite discovery in Mali has produced some great cabbing and carving material. This material, when carved, has a very unique and attractive "soft" almost "velvety" appearance. This gem is pretty good size for the material, and is very gemmy with a few inclusions, which is common for this material. It has an "Oval Cabochon" cut. Considering this is relatively new material, it's a great gem to fill a spot in your collection.
