Prehnite

Item Description

Prehnite has always been a popular gem among collectors because of its lovely green color. Recently the new Prehnite discovery in Mali has produced some great cabbing and carving material. This material, when carved, has a very unique and attractive "soft" almost "velvety" appearance. This "Round Cabochon" cut gem has some very slight inclusions, which is better tham most that I have seen. This is a good size stone and considering it is relatively new, it's a great gem to fill a spot in your collection.
