Item Description
Admittedly, this is a strange prehnite, that is hard to ID by eye...but it is actually a rare classic style from old finds in the New Jersey basalt traps, the kind of deposit that so many older East Coast collectors (including Alex Schauss) grew up on and self collected at in the 1950s-1980s. This is an unusual group of pale green-white prehnite balls, stuck together in an unlikely floating cluster, from this classic locale. It dates from a small modern 2012 find here, which was a surprise to find in Alex's notes.
