These gems rival some of the top Opal gems from places like Australia and Mexico for color and gemminess This "oval cabochon" cut gem is a fantastic example of this material featuring a golden background that hosts an amazing array of color flash ranging from green to gold to orange to red when reflected in the light. It's a big impressive stone, and would make a great piece of jewelry, or would stand on its own as a beautiful gem. It's a solid Opal, not a doublet or triplet, which significant when it comes to value, and it's completely untreated. Valued at $1,575.00 retail.
