These gems rival some of the top Opal gems from places like Australia and Mexico for color and gemminess This "oval cabochon" cut gem is a fantastic example of this material featuring a golden background that hosts an amazing array of color flash ranging from green to gold to orange to red (with minor blue flashes here and there) when reflected in the light. It's a big impressive stone, and would make a great piece of jewelry, or would stand on its own as a beautiful gem. It's a solid Opal, not a doublet or triplet, and it's completely untreated.
