Item Description
Going back several years ago, the Tsehay Mewcha area (comprising countless small mines) in Ethiopia produced some amazing pieces of multi-color Precious Opal. These specimens are some of the most brilliantly colorful and eye-catching pieces of Opal from any locality in decades. This piece is a wonderful solid specimen featuring multi-color flashes of blue, green, gold, yellow, orange and red when rotated in the light. Even in low light, the color flash is fairly strong and beautiful, and when you view the piece under strong lighting, the color really comes out. Specimen weight is 2.28 grams.
