A gorgeous rainbow of rich colors highlights this impressive large opal from the famous Virgin Valley District. The translucent ivory core of this nearly 5.0 cm precious opal is surrounded by gemminess with neon flashes of reds, oranges, blues, greens and yellows. This is probably a section of a petrified tree limb. Classic, excellent and hard to get older material. Valued at $750.
