Powellite (rare)

Powellite is a member of the Scheelite group, and is only found in a handful of places around the world in gem grade crystals. Without question, India has produced some of the finest crystallized Powellites extant, some of which are so gemmy that they have yielded some of the finest gemstones as a result. This stone is a lovely "Pear Brilliant" cut Powellite with only very very slight inclusions and a gentle golden hue. If you collect rare stones, this is a great gem to add to your collection, as they are much rarer on the market today than they were 20+ years ago.
