Powellite (fluorescent) on Drusy Quartz

A stunning, RAZOR SHARP 5-cm, straw-yellow, powellite pyramid is adroitly set on drusy quartz matrix on this striking and beautiful specimen from limited finds about 10 years ago at Jalgaon. The termination is quite gemmy and the well-striated sides really add pizzazz to this translucent crystal. This crystal of high visual impact is large for the locale. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, the out-of-sight base of the crystal is contacted. The termination is lightly bruised, but is barely noticeable in the preferred display view. Bright yellowish-white fluorescence. Valued at $2500.
