Powellite, Apophyllite & Stilbite (excellent)

From a classic find, notable for the color and association, perhaps 10 years ago: A 3.5 x 3.0 cm, very impressive, doubly terminated, tetragonal, powellite crystal with striking multiple terminations is beautifully set on apophyllite crystal matrix with a few peach-colored stilbite blades. The highly lustrous, translucent powellite is a pretty straw-yellow and has a very interestingly intensely etched mid-section. Complete all-around and pristine, the apophyllite has ghostly yellow fluorescence. Valuewd $1500-2000, easily, for quality, display, and the color of this superb crystal. Outstanding material.
