Item Description

Povondraite is a rare Tourmaline Group species containg boron and was discovered in 1979 at this Type Locality. The highly unusual geologic setting is in saltdome caprock (MINDAT)! Resinous black crystals and crystal fragments to 4 mm are embedded in the matrix of this showy rarity. RARE and rarely on the market. Comes with a label from respected Excalibur-Cureton Company.
