Item Description
Occuring more as a man-made product (think Portland cement), Portlandite is a rare Calcium Hydroxide that actually occurs very seldom in nature. On this thumbnail there are a few dozen blades of Portlandite on matrix that range from a few mm up to 9 mm across. A good representative example of a rare species.
