Item Description
A fine thumbnail example of old polybasite from this rare, world class locality for the species. This thumbnail specimen is a trim from the famous large specimen ex. Senator Dr. Miguel Romero, illustrated on page 19 of the book on his collection, Miguel Romero Collection of Minerals (2008, Mineralogical Record). It seems like it was repaired to the original specimen illustrated, and Miguel separated it , to make a fine TN and a fine small cabinet piece, with no repairs. It is a complete crystals, sharp all around. Valued $1000. An old specimen known to have come out in the early 1900s.
