Item Description
Polybasite, an uncommon silver, copper, antimony species, is rarely seen from any old Colorado locality. This one, mislabelled Enargite on an antique old label (from the 1800s, or early 1900s, I would bet), is a VERY rare locality piece. This specimen is probably from thin gold or silver veins in the hills above Boulder, although the label just says "Gilpin County." More research may pin down an exact old location. Ex. Herb Obodda collection.A significant old classic silver species crystal, that is hard to value.
