Item Description

RARE and aesthetic pollucite and smoky quartz combination from the well-known pegmatites at Paprok. A 2.8 x 2.5 translucent, colorless, trapezohedral pollucite crystal is nicely set on the side of a very sculptural jackstraw cluster smoky quartz crystals. Pollucite is an uncommon Zeolite Group mineral related to Analcime. The gemmy smokies have darker tips and glass-clear to frosted faces, adding interest. The imposing dominating upright smoky is 4.1 cm tall. The large smoky is nearly pristine, with just a bit of termination edge wear. The interior smokies are pristine. Periphery wear is noted on the left edge of the pollucite and to the broken smoky on the lower right. A RARE and excellent pollucite and smoky quartz combination from Paprok.
