Item Description
A cluster of rather large, ivory-white, translucent to opaque, well-formed Pollucite crystals. Crystals are slightly etched and portions have a coarse granular, glistening appearance. The largest crystal measures 4.1cm across and is quite large for the species! Pollucite is rare in crystals and this specimen features one large, somewhat composite crystal with a smaller companion on a "matrix" of a few incomplete Pollucite crystals at the base and some pocket clay is present. The species is the cesium analogue of the more familiar zeolite mineral Analcime! A uniquely attractive and highly fluorescent specimen from the pegmatites of Pakistan!
