Item Description

Most people don't immediately conjure images of zeolites when it comes to various localities around Mogok, but a small amount have been found over the years. Pollucite is a very rare cesium bearing zeolite mineral, which is more commonly seen in pegmatite unlike igneous deposits where most zeolites species. Here we have 4-crystal set of translucent, white crude crystals (pebbles) of Pollucite, free of matrix. From a find in the early 2000s. Hard to find on the market now, and if you collect minerals of Myanmar, this is something that would fill a hole in your collection. Total weight of the set is 24.15 grams.
From the collection of Bill ("Burma Bill") Larson of Fallbrook, California. Bill is a well-known gem and mineral dealer as well as a miner and worldwide mineral collector. Bill has traveled the world for decades in search of fine gems and minerals, and was directly involved in the in-person acquisition and importation of superb specimens and stones from Myanmar (Burma).
