Item Description
This is a large translucent, crystal section of of a Pollucite from Pakistan. Pollucite is a cesium-aluminum silicate and is the Cesium analogue of Analcime; and it also happens to be the major source of cesium in the world as a commercial ore! The complex pegmatites of Pakistan and Afghanistan have produced a significant amount of this uncommon cesium species mineral and this is a great reference piece for the species because it is large enough to show impactfully, displays standing up, and has a remarkable luster (most are rather dull in luster). 177 grams.
