Polished Variscite nodule (rich color!)

Variscite is an uncommon hydrated Al-phosphate and this rich, very attractive slabbed and polished large nodule is from a well-known Utah locale. This striking nodule has sculptural areas of deep green, top-quality Utah variscite - which can be kept as a specimen, or used for as prime lapidary material for jewelry! Great color for this material (it can sometimes be a pretty washed-out light green). Five more 4-mm slabs could probably be cut from this nodule. 178 grams mass.
