Item Description
Variscite specimens are RARE from this obscure Utah locale, compared to other famous state localites, such as the famous Little Green Monster Variscite Mine or the deposits at Lucin. Beautiful pastel-green variscite on the sliced and polished face of this striking nodule. The fracture patterns add dramatic pizzazz to this exceptionally rich and rare example from this locale. The piece is solid variscite with portions having an oxide crust. Rare, OLD-TIME material according to the East Coast collector's label, having come from esteemed dealer George English. 227 grams mass. Excellent lapidiary material.
