Beautiful sky-blue color on this VERY RARE California sliced and polished turquoise nugget from this obscure undeveloped iron deposit near Silver Lake (MINDAT). Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and former Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. 12 grams mass. Rare, perhaps UNIQUE California turquoise. A MUST for the species, locality or lapidary collector.
