Item Description
A striking CABINET-SIZED polished malachite slice from the famous copper mines of Kolwezi. Beautiful banding of variable green surrounds a gorgeous and dramatic arborescent core. The lower right-hand corner has been repaired, but the rest of the slab is in excellent condition. Classic and desirable older material from the 1960s or early 70s from the Dennis Mullane Collection. Material of this quality first became available around this time.
