Item Description
Bizarre looking, uncharacteristic malachite "eyes" dramatically stare at you on this striking polished malachite nodule from one of the famous copper mines of the Kolwezi District. Most such "eye" specimens you normally see have dense variable green banding. These surreal "eyes" have subtle dense banding, but mostly in a singular light green hue with darker eye popping centers. The sides reveal the impressive typical dense banding with turquoise-blue chrysocolla and matrix accenting the back. Certainly a fantastic looking 360-degree malachite "eyes" nodule. 317 grams mass.
