A showy and excellent sawed and polished datolite nodule from the famous Delaware Mine of Michigan"s Copper Country. The nodule has high luster, a nice porcelaneous texture and the porcelain-white interior is speckled with rust-red copper inclusions. Porcelains white nodules in this quality are rare...the Quality is off the charts really for this Classic Michigan Copper Country material. We have not offered a Michigan datolite nodule in the auctions for over two years! They are hard to get and are highly desirable. A fine quality duplicate from the well-known Michigan suite of the Robert Nowakowski Collection.
