Item Description
Malachite, chrysocolla and chalcedony form a beautiful and artistic shaped and polished cabochon. The botryoidal green malachite and powder-blue chrysocolla surrounding the near transparent colorless chalcedony interior with fantastic dendritic sutures are a joy to behold. This fine and artistic miniature combination cabochon is from the well-known Inspiration Mine of the Globe-Miami Mining District. Classic material from the locale, from old collection material and not on the market today. Mass is 13 grams. It is hard to value such a specimen as it has lapidary and art value beyond the mineral significance for this location, but we can say it is beautiful, and jewelry-worthy as well!
