Colorful, striking, muted banding highlights this dramatic sliced and polished pair of an azurite nodule from this now well-known mine, which produced some of the world's finest cuprite and copper specimens. The alternating bands of royal-blue and navy-blue and growth fractures accentuate the sculptural interior. The rather bland exterior of the nodule gives no hint of the internal beauty!
