Polished Azurite & Malachite (old Morenci)

A colorful and eye-popping specimen of sculptural dentritic clusters of spherical aggregates of nubby light green malachite scattered in highly lustrous, banded, light to dark blue azurite. This striking sawed and formed piece is polished on all sides. This striking older piece is from small finds at the famous Morenci Mine in the 1980s. Beautifully, art in stone. We don't get many of these, in collections as they come up, but this one is certainly a one-off worth having here. The price tag on the back is the 1980s price. Value today?? We have seen such priced from $500 to $1000, depending on the venue.
