Very nice set of two varied Agates from Brazil, with the quality polish really bringing out the color and the forms of the banding. Agates from Brazil are well-know, and these two nicely represent the type of quality that you can find in them. The smaller Agate, which has very good translucency along the outer bands, is 9.1 cm across. Also, it has the very unusual feature of alternating zones of cryptocrystalline Quartz (agate) and crystalline Quartz. Sometimes you will see one zone of crystallized Quartz, but rarely two.
