Polished Agate nodule (Nowakowski Coll.)

Item Description

Teepee Canyon agates are rare and are very seldom on the market. This is a very showy chalcedony variety agate nodule, that has been slabbled and polished on all sides, including the back. The very sculptural pod of densely banded, colorful variations of oranges, yellows, greens, brown and whites in creamy chalcedony matrix makes for a striking and very showy specimen. One corner has been sawed, so the piece displays very well without aid. Ex Robert Nowakowski Collection.
